About Robert Nolan, Ph.D.

Robert Nolan, Ph.D. is Co-founder of Developmental Play and Attachment Therapies, Inc. For the past 40 years Dr. Nolan has been the Executive Director of the Institute for Children and Family Health (ICFH), Miami, Florida, which is the largest children’s non-profit organization in the State of Florida offering both pediatric and mental health care.  The ICFH specializes in 30 different programs that ranges from infant mental health to services for juvenile offenders. Dr. Nolan was one of the original founders of the Florida Association for Play Therapy and was its first residing President. Dr. Nolan has lectured and consulted nationally on the topics of childhood treatment and evaluation.  Among his many professional activities he has played a prominent role in helping to shape State policies pertaining to children’s mental health in Florida.  He is a co-presenter of the Earth Science workshops and is on the training Staff for the Certification in the CARE Developmental Play Therapy℠ training program.
